Little Rock, Arkansas. We are thrilled to announce that two of our exceptional Graduate Arkansas seniors, Sherley Hernandez Perez and Chris Gilliam, were recognized at the 2025 Governor's Scholastic Honors Day on Saturday, May 3, at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion in Little Rock.
This prestigious event celebrates Arkansas' top academic achievers, with each high school across the state selecting two outstanding seniors who exemplify academic excellence. Our students joined other high-achieving seniors from across Arkansas to receive special recognition from the governor for their scholastic accomplishments.
During the ceremony, each student received a personalized certificate and had their photo taken with the governor and first gentleman. The event featured a special slideshow highlighting each honoree's achievements, representing their schools and hometowns with pride.
Ms. Hernandez Perez and Mr. Gilliam attended the ceremony with their families. The photos capture these memorable moments at the Governor's Mansion, where our students stood on the official state seal surrounded by Arkansas and American flags.
The Governor's Scholastic Honors Day represents one of the highest academic recognitions available to Arkansas high school seniors. We extend our warmest congratulations to Sherley and Chris on this well-deserved honor. Their academic dedication and achievements reflect the excellence we strive for at Graduate Arkansas.
Please join us in celebrating these outstanding students and their remarkable accomplishments!
